Sunday was Andy's work picnic. We went for a little bit in the afternoon. Stella started off shy and not in the mood to do anything but swing. She refused to try the bounce house...until we were ready to leave. She finally asked to go in it. We pushed her in, but she started crying. I tried to get her back out, but she cried even more. I finally realized she was upset because she couldn't get herself up the steps to the slide. We got another kid to show her how to navigate it and she was thrilled. Needless to say, we stuck around another 20 minutes or so in order for her to bounce, climb, slide, repeat.
