Going to the grocery (or any store) with two kids is definitely not my idea of fun or efficiency. It's really hard now that Charlotte is no longer in her pumpkin seat and is too big for the Baby Bjorn carrier. I usually try to go to the grocery with just one of them. Today all three of us had to go. This was the first time Stella did not have to be in a cart at the grocery. And I was patient enough to let her take her own cart around this trip - we were in no hurry. For her first time, she did pretty well. She kept the bananas, a jar of baby food, a box of spaghetti and my purse safe in her cart. She did get freaked out every time another "large" cart came her way...she would abandon hers and clutch my leg!

Invest in an ERGO carrier - they are awesome! I can carry Luke on my front, hip or back and there's no weight limit! :)
