Mason Heritage Parade
Saturday morning we decided last minute to attend the Mason Heritage Parade. The girls were both getting "bored" and we needed to get out of the house! It started at 10 AM and lasted an entire hour. Stella loved seeing all of the girl scouts, football players, cheerleaders, dance teams, fire trucks, etc. We even got to see Krista and Leah (3rd photo is Leah) in the parade with the girl scouts! We were at the very beginning of the parade route (the 3rd family) so we got a TON of candy, pencils, stickers and tattoos...an entire Target bag was filled! Stella got to pick out a few pieces of candy when we got home...the rest is headed to work. You will see in a couple of the pictures that Stella also got new glasses. She had her annual check-up and her prescription was tweaked. We decided to go ahead and upgrade her to big-girl glasses (no wrap-around-the-ears) and they are transition lenses so they turn into sunglasses outside. She seems to really like them.
General warning...we are parents. Parents to children we adore. Parents to children that are the center of our attention. This means that most of the blogging will be about the children. Grandparents and aunts and uncles generally love this stuff...especially if they are out of town. Friends with children put up with it in order to have playdates (adult-only and children included) regularly. Others are often annoyed. You were warned.

I think it's so cute how your belly is poking out behind Stella's head in the bottom pic!
