Stella headed for an overnight at Grandma Jude's today. Andy worked on her soon-to-be "big girl" room. Three walls are going to be taupe and one a green color to match the stuff we bought at Ikea. The primer went on much darker than expected (shown above), but the actual paint is looking good. We'll post more pictures when it's complete.

Tonight Andy and I are headed on a date. Dinner, shopping, and an adult Halloween party. We modeled our costumes last weekend at Callie's b-day party. We'll see if they are a hit tonight! Yes, that's a bun in my oven!

I LOVE your costumes! How creative and entertaining. Good thinking! And Stella is the most adorable skunk I've seen!
Just wondering what you picked at IKEA? We bought the girls some new curtains from there and they seem to be the same colors. I love IKEA!!
Julie - We actually bought the Barnslig Rand stuff. We did it more for planning purposes than being "in love" with the decor. We're going to have 2 twin beds in there for Stella & Kid #2 (eventually when baby #3 comes - God willing). So I wanted something neutral again in case she ends up sharing a room with a boy for awhile. If baby #2 is a girl, I'll probably get rid of the stuff earlier and go all girl decor. That's why I went with the taupe and green - for a girl, I'll add pink accents or if later it's for two boys, I'll add blue. I didn't want to have to repaint later. That's what I love about IKEA - it's so cheap you can change your mind!!!
Actually the curtains are Barnslig Djur.
Love the colors. IKEA names are funny. Your costumes made me laugh. Just imagine, I would have to wear that one with Dr. Scheiber!
