Spring Has Sprung!
Last Sunday was a nice spring day and we played outside for part of the afternoon. Stella enjoyed seeing the beginnings of the daffodils in the backyard. We picked enough for a couple of small vases. They really popped in the yard that Monday and Tuesday. I was able to go out Wednesday and get one more big vase of them (below) before the rain and snow arrived. I see some of them still out there and looking a bit beat up from the snow. I'll be curious if more will bloom or if our batch this year will be much shorter-lived than normal.
General warning...we are parents. Parents to children we adore. Parents to children that are the center of our attention. This means that most of the blogging will be about the children. Grandparents and aunts and uncles generally love this stuff...especially if they are out of town. Friends with children put up with it in order to have playdates (adult-only and children included) regularly. Others are often annoyed. You were warned.
